Park Square Homes—No. 72 on the 2024 Builder 100—announced the appointment of Keith Hurand as president and chief operating officer (COO).
According to the builder, Hurand will lead the creation and execution of growth and operating strategies and build a high-performing, economically successful organization. He will also focus on developing people, processes, and technology to foster a culture of relentless improvement and transformation.

Hurand’s career spans two decades. He most recently served as the chief development officer at McWhinney in Colorado, where he led strategic planning across four key business areas: master-planned communities, commercial and mixed-use development, multifamily, and hospitality development.
Before McWhinney, he held leadership roles within the industry, including president and COO of Newland Communities. During his tenure with Newland, Hurand worked closely with Park Square Homes on the sale of homesites for several Tampa division communities.
Hurand has also served as Florida regional president with WCI Communities and held division president roles with Taylor Morrison and Century Communities.
His extensive background includes expertise in all facets of managing a top 100 home building company, from land planning to human capital development. His leadership experience extends to managing teams of up to 1,000 employees, showcasing his ability to lead large-scale operations effectively.
