KB Home appointed Casey Dare as its new Tampa division president. In the role, Dare will be responsible for the company’s operations throughout the region, from land acquisition and construction to sales and customer service.

The Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater market ranked as the eighth largest new-home market by closings in 2025 according to Zonda’s Local Leaders report and KB Home has a top-10 market share in the Tampa region.

“Casey brings an exceptional depth and breadth of experience to our Tampa division, executing on KB Home’s distinctive customer-centric business model,” says Vince DePorre, KB Home’s east region president. “We are excited to have him extend his outstanding career at KB Home by leading the strategic growth of our Tampa operations.”

Dare has more than two decades of home building experience broadly and a decade of service with KB Home. In his tenure with KB Home, he has served as a superintendent, a customer service manager, a director of customer service and operations, a senior vice president of operations, and, most recently, as the executive vice president for the Orlando division.

KB Home, the No. 7 company on the 2026 Builder 100 list, has been building in the Tampa region since 2002 and is continuing to expand its presence across the market. The builder plans to open four new single-family home communities in the area in 2026: Morningside, Woodland Oaks, Deer Springs, and Meade Estates.
