The nonprofit Architecture for Humanity is auctioning off over 70 artworks by architects as a fundraising effort. AfH asked the participating architects, who include Frank Gehry, Michael Graves, Renzo Piano, Richard Rogers, and Richard Meier, to show why they love architecture–and, as expected, the question elicited a wide range of imaginative responses.
I was pleased to also see some of our past story subjects on the list, including Marlon Blackwell, 5468796 architecture, Michelle Kaufmann, and Peter Bohlin.
