M & S Systems’ (www.mssystems.com) MC2000 is a new, whole-house audio system that allows music from different media–audio tapes, CDs, or MP3 files–as well as radio stations to play on the same network. It includes a digital network hub with a stored media device, which can also access music files stored on a home computer. Wall-mounted, liquid-crystal displays (LCDs) can be installed in different rooms. The system also includes an intercom. Prices range from $9,299 for a four-room pack to $14,999 for an eight-room pack.
