By Matthew Power. Triangle Laboratories, based in Durham, N.C., has announced a new technology for testing dioxin levels in former industrial sites, farmlands, and other "at risk" land parcels. The test, called "RapidScreen," costs about $300 per sample, less than half the cost of current EPA dioxin tests. J. Ronald Hass, Triangle's CEO, urges developers to adopt his new product, so they can do a greater number of assessments at the same cost.
