Court Accepts Case

By Alison Rice. Who’s liable for discrimination under the Fair Housing Act? That’s what the U.S. Supreme Court will decide next term, when it hears Meyer vs. Holley, a California case pitting an interracial couple against the executive of a realty firm, whose agent allegedly refused to sell them a new home. The builder, Brooks Bauer, is also involved; he joined the suit on the couple’s side after discovering the reported discrimination.
