SmartPicture Technologies, Inc. has followed up the September launch of its PLNAR augmented-reality floor plan creation app with a suite of associated services tailored for professional users. The PLNAR Pro packages the existing free app, which allows consumers to create floor plans from images they supply, with a cloud-based project management system, team connectivity and cloud access, and workforce management services.
Professional users are now able to send invitations to the app to their clients, who can use it to capture images of their space, create an augmented-reality floor plan, and instantly send the floor plan data back to the professional user. On top of picture data, this floor plan also includes space measurements and customer-provided annotations regarding particular features.
This data is synced directly to the professional’s cloud storage, where it may be managed and shared with anyone in the company. PLNAR’s Notify feature provides anyone connected with a particular project with updates on its status, including new project creation or syncing applications.
Additional professional features include workforce management for companies of more than one, and priority access to PLNAR’s customer service.
