KB Home, Los Angeles (NYSE: KBH) on Tuesday announced the grand opening of Falcon Landing in San Antonio, a community located on the Culebra Corridor outside Loop 1604 with easy access to Highway 151.

Falcon Landing offers a quick commute to major employers, including Lackland Air Force Base, Port San Antonio, and the University of Texas at San Antonio.

“With its ideal Culebra Corridor location and on-site amenities, Falcon Landing is the perfect setting for working families to call home,” said Brett Dietz, president of KB Home’s San Antonio division. “With 16 floor plans to choose from, including the debut of a new two-story floor plan modeled at the community, KB homebuyers will have the opportunity to build the house of their dreams, personalized at the KB Home Studio.”

Home buyers at Falcon Landing can enjoy a private amenity park that includes a pool with an attached pavilion and a children’s playground. The community is also well situated for exploring the 110 miles of coastline of nearby Medina Lake, and the 40 miles of hiking and biking trails through the rugged canyon lands and rolling grasslands of Government Canyon State Natural Area.

The nearby city of Castroville features antique shopping, historic home walking tours, and fine dining at the Hotel Alsace Spa Resort. Closer to Falcon Landing are restaurants and shops at Alamo Ranch Marketplace.

Home buyers can choose from 16 one- and two-story floor plans that range in size from 1,516 square feet to 3,475 square feet and can accommodate up to six bedrooms and three-and-a-half bathrooms. Nine foot ceilings, flex spaces, and ample storage are among the distinctive design elements of the KB homes at Falcon Landing. Lot selection, exterior style, and interior décor and features can be tailored to each buyer’s own lifestyle and budget at the KB Home Studio.

As with all KB homes, those offered at Falcon Landing will be built to ENERGY STAR® guidelines and include WaterSense® labeled faucets and fixtures, meaning they are designed to be more energy- and water-efficient than most typical new and resale homes available in the area.

Grand opening festivities for Falcon Landing, including tours of three new model homes, will be held beginning at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 30.
