Ethan Allen over the summer kicked off its second year of partnership with Habitat for Humanity, donating a range of home products for resale at Habitat for Humanity ReStores across North America.

Over the last two years, Ethan Allen has donated more than 44,000 home products, valued at more than $19 million, to support Habitat’s vision of a world where everyone has a safe and decent place to call home. The donation helped the Habitat ReStore team create more jobs and meet their fiscal year fundraising targets.

“We are grateful for Ethan Allen’s continued partnership and generous donation,” said Lynda Smith, senior director of corporate relations for Habitat for Humanity International. “Beyond the fact that this was the largest donation in ReStore’s history, the sale of these products allows us to do even more work to help future homeowners.”

“Creating happy homes is what we do best,” said Farooq Kathwari, Chairman, President and CEO, Ethan Allen Interiors Inc. “We’re thrilled to help families achieve their dreams of home ownership, and we’re proud to support Habitat for Humanity’s work in our communities.”

Habitat for Humanity ReStores are nonprofit home improvement stores and donation centers that sell new and gently used furniture, appliances, home accessories, building materials, and more to the public at a fraction of the retail price. Habitat ReStores are independently owned and operated by local Habitat for Humanity organizations.
