Entry Doors: How Many Units, What Materials, and Future Growth

The Window & Door Manufacturers Association’s (WDMA) recently released Window and Entry Door Industry 2014 U.S. Market Study delivers detailed information on key trends, performance, and future direction of the industry.

The WDMA has provided BUILDER with a sneak peek of the entry door segment of their report (the full report can be purchased in the WDMA bookstore), which shows that the residential entry door market will continue to grow in 2014 (5.1%), and 2015 (4.8%), but at a slower pace than seen in 2013 (5.3% growth). The graphics below break down forecasted unit growth in the coming years, units by project type in 2013, and leaf/panel materials used.
