By Alison Rice. Compensation for construction company CEOs rose 31.6 percent–the most of 14 industries surveyed–between 2000 and 2001, according to a survey by The Conference Board. In dollars, that translates into a median total compensation (salary, bonus, and long-term incentives) of $1.5 million for construction CEOs in 2001.
