Deck builders and other construction professionals can use “DeckTools” to simulate detailed custom deck designs in any shape and with any material.
“DeckTools” creates 3-D views of deck and railing designs, as well as traditional plan views, and also helps the designer identify key connections required by codes, suggesting appropriate Simpson Strong-Tie connectors and fasteners. The software also generates structural drawings and detailed finish views, material takeoff lists, cost estimates, and professional proposals from customizable Microsoft Office documents. With every software license, Simpson Strong-Tie provides one-on-one training, ongoing online classes, self-paced instructional videos, and customer support. Microsoft Windows XP or Windows Vista is required.
