ARCHITECT‘s Katharine Keane reports that Columbia, Md.–based software developer Vectorworks has announced the release of its 2019 eponymous design and BIM software. For its latest version, the company opted to update and streamline the existing Vectorworks add-ons Architect, Landmark, Spotlight, Fundamentals, Designer, Bracework, and Vision.

As in previous years, Vectorworks solicited and incorporated user feedback when determining and developing software updates, which include “significantly faster workflows and improved software performance,” according to a company press release.

“In Vectorworks 2019, we concentrated on our customers’ most common workflows and usage patterns to increase their overall productivity,” said CEO Biplab Sarkar in the same release.
