Expanding its collaboration with Drew & Jonathan Home, WVH has launched two high-performance, flexible wood surface lines designed to wrap architectural features. Property Brothers hosts and design experts Drew and Jonathan Scott have spent the past year working with WVH to develop the new series that marries natural wood with limitless design potential.
“The interior conversation has moved so far beyond flat and static,” says Jonathan Scott. “People want tactile, layered, dimensional spaces and the materials have to keep up with that ambition. That’s exactly where this flexible collection succeeds.”
Ultraflex, which is pictured above in oak, is a lightweight .28-inch-thick alternative to rigid paneling that provides high noise reduction despite its thinness. Using engineered veneer with a straight, even grain, Ultraflex offers a uniform tone across large installation surfaces. It is available in straight engineered walnut or oak veneer in 94.49 x 11.81-inch or 118.11 x 11.81-inch lengths.
Flutto Valley is a flexible wood veneer panel with a concave tambour profile. Adding structural depth and visual interest, it is made with real wood veneer wrapped over a dense MDF core to eliminate voids during custom trimming. Water-resistant, Flutto Valley is available in walnut or oak veneer in 94.5 x 11.8-inch or 118.1 x 11.8-inch lengths.
Both products seamlessly follow curves, columns, and recesses with adhesive backing for easy installation. “Curves and organic forms are dominating modern spaces, and we saw a need for surfaces that can follow those lines, not fight them,” explains Drew Scott. “For a long time, wood veneer had design limitations. What’s changed, and what makes this collection genuinely exciting, is that the panels flex to the design, not the other way around.”
