CalAtlantic Opens Communities, Models in 4 States

Stages openings in Illinois, Texas, Arizona and California.

CalAtlantic Homes (NYSE:CAA) over the weekend staged the grand opening of models and communities in four states.

The builder announced the debut of nine new home designs at Windsor Ridge in Joliet, IL.

“This new collection of homes at Windsor Ridge was designed for discerning home shoppers, with generous homesites and spacious floor plans,” said Kevin Johnson, Chicago division president for CalAtlantic Homes. “Other features, such as the elementary and middle school situated within the community, and the wide selection of nearby shopping and dining, make this an ideal place to live.”

Homebuyers at Windsor Ridge can select from nine popular ranch and two-story CalAtlantic home designs ranging from 1,988 to 3,146 square feet. These expansive, single-family homes offer three to five bedrooms and two to three baths. Pricing starts in the mid $200,000s.

The community features bright and inviting floor plans that connect easily from large living areas to modern kitchens. Each home also features a generous owner’s suite with a private bath and walk-in closet. Homeowners will have the opportunity to personalize their space with optional features including a living room fireplace, garden bathroom and first-floor guest suite.

Residents at Windsor Ridge will enjoy convenient access to neighborhood shopping, dining and entertainment along Routes 30 and 59. The community is served by an active Joliet Park District and Library, with a regular calendar of activities and events, and boasts three golf courses within a five-mile radius. For commuting residents, Routes 52, 59 and I-55 are less than six miles from the community. Plus, the Joliet Metra commuter rail station is located within ten miles of the community, offering a traffic-free route into Chicago.

Children living in Windsor Ridge are eligible to attend Plainfield School District #202. Thomas Jefferson Elementary School and Aux Sable Middle School are adjacent to the Windsor Ridge community, and Plainfield South High School is less than two miles away.

CalAtlantic also staged a Grand Opening of Bluewood, the first master-planned community in the Celina Independent School District offering both high-end neighborhood amenities and an on-site elementary school in Celina, TX.

Home shoppers can select from four single-level floor plans, each of which welcomes guests with charming courtyard entries and an open concept floor plan that flows seamlessly from spacious Great Rooms into gourmet center-island kitchens. Each home also features a large owner’s suite with a resort-style bath.

Pescara’s beautifully flexible home designs offer a range of options, giving homeowners a way to personalize their living spaces with features such as bonus rooms, en-suite baths in the secondary bedrooms, an additional guest suite or a separate casita.

In California, CalAtlantic announced the Grand Opening of Camden, a stunning collection of three new home designs and the first community to debut within the highly-anticipated phase two of the Park Place master-planned community in Ontario, CA.
