As part of its ongoing effort to combat the increasing number of mortgage fraud cases, the Mortgage Bankers Association has launched the Mortgage Fraud Against Lenders Resource Center (http://mbafightsfraud.mortgage bankers.org), a Web site designed to be a one-stop shop for the industry to learn about the problem and the tools available to fight it. The site includes fraud alerts on emerging schemes, industry news and updates, resources for detecting and reporting fraud cases, and upcoming member events and educational programs addressing the issue.
