Inside Job

1 MIN READ

By BUILDER Magazine Staff. In May (see “What If“) we looked at @Last Software’s Sketchup (www.sketchup.com), a great tool that lets builders quickly create presentation drawings.

The program has since gotten better. Version 2.1, which was released in July, includes a new sectioning tool that lets you slice a home model in half to show the interior volume. Users can also cut a section through a model and export it directly to a CAD program for printing. The new release now comes in a Mac OS version for the first time: It won a MacWorld Best of Show award in July.
