The window and door manufacturer Web sites that top our reviewers? list of favorites feature more than just plentiful specifications, good-looking photos, and easy navigation. Most go well above and beyond their competitors, packing their sites with the stuff that keeps you coming back for more.
All the favorite sites in this category are well done, although Andersen, Pella, Therma-Tru, and Velux go the extra mile. Besides outstanding specs, they cram their sites with detailed installation information (Velux?s is even in three languages); helpful toolbars, some with pull-downs; separate sections for contractors; and easy-to-find contact information.
