With their new series 670 window line, including casements, awnings, and hoppers, Western Window Systems aims to pair customizable design appeal with high performance. The windows have a 4.5-inch frame depth and can be directly mulled to other product lines from Western Windows Systems, such as sliding doors and fixed window walls, without the need for operable inserts. To improve energy efficiency, the series uses dual-paned, low-E glass manufactured with thermoplastic spacer technology.
A thermal break comes standard in the frames and sashes, which also increases energy performance. Additional upgrades include a sloped sill for improved water drainage, a slimmer sash lock, aluminum screens with a concealed clip system, and the use of all stainless steel hardware.
Replacing the 700 series, the windows are available with a variety of sizes and with multiple wood grain finishes and aluminum frame finishes, including the company’s designer colors line.
