Glass wall manufacturer NanaWall Systems has announced its new ClimaCLEAR system, a completely frameless all-glass individual panel sliding system specifically engineered for transparent weather protection.
The system, which NanaWall claims is the first weather-resistant frameless opening glass wall, uses transparent vertical weather seals between the panels to seal the entire wall from wind-driven rain and reduce air infiltration. The seals aren't visible when closed, allowing for maximum transparency with no vertical stiles and a clean, modern appearance.
The system also utilizes male/female panel interlocks at the top and bottom rails to help keep the weather out. The panel floor bolts are foot-activated, effectively locking the panel into place without the need to kneel down. The horizontal continuous door rails are also equipped with double fin brush seals on both sides, top and bottom, for complete weather protection. The door system also features an ADA-compliant water drainage system with a recessed, low-profile saddle sill with adjustable floor sockets that provides an engineered water management system.
ClimaCLEAR configurations come standard with a single action swing panel and are available in a clear anodized finish with additional brushed, dark bronze and black anodized finishes available to accommodate varying interior designs.
