LAS VEGAS -- The 2007 Kitchen/Bath Industry Show & Conference (K/BIS) began Tuesday at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Show officials say they expect more than 40,000 national and international industry professionals to visit Las Vegas to view exhibits from 900 companies.

K/BIS showcases the latest products and design ideas in the kitchen and bath industry. The event features a learning area that focuses on green design, kitchen and bath technology, and outdoor living. There are multiple forums and discussions on the latest trends and industry issues. In addition, the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) will announce its 2007 NKBA Design Competition Pinnacle Award winner and 2007 Hall of Fame inductees.

"The incredible energy, enthusiasm, and dedication that surround the show are true indicators of the vitality of the industry," says Michael Kelly, CEO of the NKBA.
