Icebox LLC, makers of home entertainment centers for the kitchen, is looking to market through home builders. Under the company's new program, for every 35 homes a builder pre-wires for Icebox, the builder receives a free Icebox for his model home. Kirby Watson, director of business development for Icebox, predicts up to 10,000 homes will be Icebox-ready by year's end. Watson says Icebox anticipates a 40 percent conversion rate. Icebox goes to market through value-added resellers in the computer market and retailers such as CompUSA and Best Buy.
