Ceramic and stone tiles over lightweight substrates tend to move and may crack over time, but Ditra polyethylene uncoupling membrane solves the problem. The product allows for in-plane movement, acts as a waterproof and vapor barrier, and evenly distributes load.

Because cork flooring is a fast-growing category, the manufacturer has introduced molding and trim that consists of a pine substrate wrapped with a simulated cork veneer that will blend with the flooring. Available in 8-foot lengths, it comes in seven profiles such as quarter round and wall base.

RedGard is a waterproofing and crack-prevention membrane that is ideal for residential and commercial tile and stone applications. The product creates a continuous waterproofing barrier and also reduces crack transmission in tile and stone floors.

The Hydro Ban line of pre-sloped shower pans produces high quality, waterproof shower installations. Constructed of lightweight, high-density polystyrene, each component features a waterproof coating that may be tiled over immediately upon installation. The products eliminate the need for traditional "mud bed” installations.

Ideal for indoor and outdoor floor and wall applications, these handmade tiles feature a clay body and a glazed decorative face. Pieces are available in a variety of styles and sizes.

The Metro Subway Collection of glass tiles attempts to offer the material to a “commodity” price point, the manufacturer says. Priced at around $3.99 per square foot, tiles feature a rough white back that helps with adhesion and comes in a variety of sizes and colors.

Offering hassle-free installation, the manufacturer’s Ochre Blend stone veneer panels measure 24 inches long and 6 inches thick so they go up faster. The company also offers an ingenious corner unit that makes the transition seamless. Four colors are available.
