New Web-Based Design Studio Offers Hope for Poorly Designed Kitchens

Jennifer Gilmer Kitchen & Bath designed this low- to mid-range kitchen with an Asian influence and environmentally friendly products. It features walnut veneer cabinets, bamboo countertops, and stone tiles.

This mid- to high-range has a clean and simple Asian feel with white cabinets. The black island is topped with a teak countertop and enhanced Asian-style hardware.

The client for this low- to mid-range kitchen wanted a traditional “butler’s pantry” feel so Jennifer Gilmer Kitchen & Bath used painted white inset cabinets. A soapstone countertop and soapstone farmhouse style sink add to the historical feel.

This high-end contemporary kitchen features open shelving, a thick concrete top, and end panels with cabinets sandwiched between. It won first place in a local Sub Zero design contest.

Responding to its clients’ wish to open up the living area to the kitchen, Jennifer Gilmer Kitchen & Bath widened two existing openings and added two islands. The luxury kitchen features harlequin tile under the hood and a wood-topped second island.

For this mid-range kitchen in a small two-bedroom apartment, Jennifer Gilmer Kitchen & Bath removed the wall separating the living room, dining room, and kitchen. To make up for lost space, the firm suspended a glass shelf above the peninsula.
