Forget About Europe

Size Matters.  Construction jobs are vital to full employment. Of the 5.97 million jobs not yet recovered since the recession, 2.06 million, or 35 percent, are in construction. Improving housing market conditions and recovering construction are vital to the U.S. getting back to full employment.

While the European Union is collectively large, most of its member countries are actually more comparable to U.S. MSAs. While Europe faces economic decline, the limited growth we expect in the U.S. looks much better. And as our economy grows, aided by improvements in construction and housing, U.S. markets will get bigger.
