WCI Communities is looking to build 522 single-family homes in Florida’s Broward County, reports South Florida Business Journal senior reporter Brian Bandell.

The application for the 420-acre site will go before the Parkland City Commission on Wednesday. The project would dedicate 230.5 acres to lakes and 2.4 acres to private recreation. Urban Design Kilday Studios designed the site plan.

It’s in an area called the Wedge that was transferred from Palm Beach County to Broward and then annexed by Parkland. Much of the land has become new single-family home developments.
