Houston-based Village Builders, a division of Lennar Corp., is launching a new luxury townhome community in the west Memorial, Texas area, reports Houston Business Journal staffer Paul Takahashi.

Construction on the gated community, Upland Preserve, is underway. When complete, Village Builders will offer 53 detached, single-family townhomes, ranging in size from 1,937 square feet to 2,900 square feet. The three-story homes feature first and third-floor bedrooms; a second-floor gourmet island kitchen, breakfast room, family room and study with 11-foot ceilings; and a rooftop terrace.

The community’s model home is expected to open in the fall. Prices for the homes, part of Village Builders’ the Bella Fleur collection, have not been announced yet.
