The Villages at Tule Springs, a 2,000-acre development in North Las Vegas, has lined up its first three builders. CalAtlantic Homes already owns lots on the property, while KB Home and Pardee Homes have development agreements.
Tule Springs began development in the early 2000s as Park Highlands East, but the proposed 2006 start date was delayed by the recession. The homes are now on track to “go vertical” in early 2017, and would be ready for sale by the end of that year, according to Bob Gronauer of the Kaempfer Crowell law firm, which represents the development’s owners. Pricing will range from $200,000 to $750,000 and above.
The development project is expected to create 24,000 jobs over the next 10 to 15 years, according to Gina Gavan, director of economic development for North Las Vegas.
