Houston-based luxury home builder Trendmaker Homes has purchased 29 lots in a 5,000-acre master-planned community north of Austin, reports Will Anderson, digital editor of the Austin Business Journal.
Model homes will be completed this spring with a grand opening planned in August, says Will Holder, president of Trendmaker Homes & Development. The community is called Crystal Falls and is located in Leander, Texas.
The company bought the lots in The Fairways neighborhood near Crystal Falls Golf Club. It will sell 10 floor plans ranging from 3,404 to 3,985 square feet with prices beginning in the low $500,000s. Holder declined to disclose the purchase price.
“It’s a very exciting process for us,” Holder said. “This whole experience of coming to Austin has given us something to look forward to."
Trendmaker is the fifth-largest custom home builder in the Houston area with 2014 gross volume of $9.69 million, according to Houston Business Journal research. The company was started in 1971.
