Trailhead Development, LCC has begun the demolition process on its recently purchased half-acre property at 501 W. Seventh St. in Manchester, Richmond, VA. Construction of town homes is set to begin in mid-September, according to developer Jeremy Connell, with the first units ready this spring and the entire project completed within the next year.
The 7West development planned for the site will consist of twelve town homes, priced in the $700,000s. The community will join a rush of Manchester residential building in recent years, mostly rental units.
According to Connell, the new buildings will include materials from the local landmark S.T. Perry Paint Co. building currently on the site, which is set to be demolished later this month. The building has been used as an art gallery, studio space, and concert venue in the past.
