Toll Brothers is considering adding an active adult line to its Houston offerings, according to the Houston Business Journal's Paul Takahashi.

Toll Brothers’ new Houston division president, David Assid, said he would like to introduce the company’s active-adult homes in Houston at some point in the future.

“We’re very successful with that product line across the country,” Assid said. “That’s not a product we’re in in Houston, but it’s a growing segment nationwide.”

Toll is still working out the details of launching active adult in Houston, including the timing.

The company is looking at perhaps building active-adult homes in a new section of an established master-planned community, or developing a section within its three Toll Brothers-branded communities in Houston, he said.
