While conventional wisdom states that New York City’s ‘real estate boom’ is subsiding, according to the New York Business Journal, a recently-released CityRealty report reports that average price per square foot across the city’s top 100 condominium buildings was $2,824 – a 20% increase over 2015’s price in the same period.

According to this report, which covers sales during the six-month stretch from April 1 to September 30, the most expensive condo building in New York City is currently 15 Central Park West, where the average price per square foot rests at $7,012. The most expensive sale here this year was $28 million for a $2,846 square-foot unit. Ten units are still available in 15 Central Park West, with the most expensive listed at $43.5 million for 5,600 square feet.

The newest entry in the top 100 is TriBeCa’s 56 Leonard Street, known as the “Jenga Tower.” The building is worth an average of $2,668 per square foot, and so far its most expensive sale was $14 million for 3,562 square feet.
