The data team over at Porch joined forces with Redfin to weigh 10 metrics of satisfaction in a survey more than 10,000 homeowners across every state in the nation to find the best places to own a home.

Denver came out on top, led by high scores in healthy living and climate, while another Colorado metro, Colorado Spring, also graced the top 10.

On the flip-side, three Ohio metros--Toledo, Dayton and Akron--rank in the bottom 10, or put another way, in the top 10 worst places to own a home. The survey found that nationally, about 10% of all homeowners say they regret buying their home--especially in Lakeland, Fla., where 21% of residents say they regret their choice.
