The the 416-home Pacifica San Juan project in California stalled when Lehman Bros. collapsed in 2008. But now Taylor Morrison is bringing the development back from the dead, according to The Orange County Register's Fred Swegles.
And the homes promise to have some impressive views.
Many home sites have views of the Pacific. Others have views of the Capistrano Valley, of Mission Basilica San Juan Capistrano and of Saddleback Peak.
Swegles said the residents who bought in the project before Lehman collapsed had to deal with myriad problems, including taking over the home owners association. But Taylor Morrison will now be handling those responsibilities.
After Taylor Morrison purchased the stalled project, Phil Bodem, president of Taylor Morrison's Southern California division, went door to door and held meetings with residents to build trust and initiate a vote to turn the HOA control back to the master developer.
