With thoughts of hackers - and even the government - gaining access to connected devices, homeowners are slightly wary of having cameras in every corner of their home. Samsung wants to help do away with that big brother feeling in your living room.

The tech company's new SmartThings product line relies on sensors instead of cameras to help you keep an eye on your house. The SmartThings Home Monitoring kit comes with a hub, a motion sensor, a smart outlet, and two multipurpose sensors that can be placed on doors or windows. There are other products such as a water leak sensor or an arrival sensor.
