Napa Valley Register's Jennifer Huffman reports that after several price cuts and years on the market, the late comedian Robin Williams's Napa estate has finally sold for $18.1 million to a family of winemakers from Bordeaux, France.
Featuring tennis courts, a swimming pool, horse stables, and outbuildings, the 653-acre lot occupies space in both Napa and Sonoma counties. As for the Spanish-style, limestone-clad main residence—which was dubbed "Villa Sorriso" by Williams—it spans 22,000 square feet and includes five bedrooms, 11 baths, a library, theater, elevator, climate-controlled cellars for wine and art, as well as smart-house technology.
In addition to Cyd Greer, Beverly Hills Realtor Joyce Rey, also with Coldwell Banker Previews International, was a co-lister of the property. “We are extremely proud to represent the family and the estate. It has been a honor,” Rey said in a statement.
