Payne Family Homes President Ken Kruse is expecting big things for his company in the St. Louis market this year.
Vince Brennan of the St. Louis Business Journal writes that Payne Family Homes is hiring personnel for its land acquisition and development departments, in addition to market analytics and accounting positions. Once the hiring phase is completed, the company will have 62 employees with more additions planned for later this year. In 2015, Payne Family Homes had a revenue of $69 million with 207 units built.
“We’ve experienced high growth over the past few years as the St. Louis market has improved significantly,” Kruse said. “We want to make sure we have the right infrastructure strength in place” with these new hires.
The home building market has improved in St. Louis, albeit slowly. In St. Louis County, 58 single-family home permits were issued in November, according to the Home Builders Association of St. Louis and Eastern Missouri.
