The Journal News's Michael P. McKinney reports that a vacant, 6-acre former textile plant at 34 State St. in Ossining, N.Y., will soon been revitalized and re-purposed into 189 residential units.

The project, tentatively titled the Hudson Steppe development, will also renovate the Smith Robinson House, which is a historic building located in the area, into 7,500 square feet of office space.

Also slated is an underground 231-space automated garage. Upward of 60 percent of the property is planned to be open space.
