Ellie May's Millennials Tracker revealed that among millennials, women were listed as the primary borrower on 32% of mortgages, and of this percentage of closed loans, 62% are single while only 38% are married. HousingWire staffer Kelsey Ramirez takes a look at the differences among millennial men and women when it comes to mortgages.

In comparison to women, when men are the primary borrowers on loans, only 41% are single while 58% of them are married. However men are in the lead (slightly) when it comes to FICO scores, 724 to 723. Also millennial men have greater value in their homes:

That being said, homes owned by single men have a 10% greater value, and appreciate 16% more than homes owned by single women, according to an analysis released by RealtyTrac in May.
