Jeffrey Martcheck, a Pitt grad in 1987, joined NVR in 1988, his first job right out of school. For almost three decades, he's the No. 5-ranked BUILDER 100 company, based in Reston, Va., with operations up and down the middle Atlantic, inland as far as Ohio, his career.
Now, NVR has announced that the 27-year company veteran, who has led sales, management, and operation senior-level positions, will step up to President of Homebuilding Operations, reporting directly to CEO Paul Saville. A press statement notes:
Mr. Martchek, age 50, joined Ryan Homes in 1988 after graduating from the University of Pittsburgh, advancing to managerial roles in Production and Sales. In July 1995, he was promoted to Division Manager in Cleveland and within the next 10 years to Market Manager, Regional Manager and Senior Regional Manager in Northeast Ohio. He served as Vice President of Operations for Ryan Homes in Ohio from May 2007 until October 2008, and as Area President with operational responsibility for the Mid East Operations from October 2008 until January 2011. He assumed operational responsibility for the Maryland and Virginia Operations in February 2011 and for NVHomes effective January 1, 2015.
