The home featured in the Robin Williams’ 1993 movie Mrs. Doubtfire is up for sale in the Pacific Heights neighborhood of San Francisco, reports MarketWatch staffer Daniel Goldstein.
The 3,300 square-foot Victorian-style home is on the market for $4.45 million and includes four bedrooms and three-and-a-half baths, leaded windows, hardwood floors, and a curving turreted floor plan in the living and bedroom areas. There is also a chef’s kitchen, a patio, and a two-car garage.
Assuming the Steiner Street house sells at its list price of $4.45 million and with a 20% down payment of $890,000, a monthly principal and interest mortgage payment for a 30-year fixed loan at 3.6% interest would be $18,791 a month, including taxes and insurance, according to Zillow. The home last sold for $1.395 million in April 2000.
