Mitsubishi Electric Cooling and Heating brought a new product for HVAC control to the 2015 Greenbuild International Conference and Expo, held in Washington, D.C., in November. The Kumo Cloud is an app-based control system that manages compatible HVAC systems.

There’s an app for nearly everything these days. And a home’s heating and cooling system is no exception. Mitsubishi is joining the growing trend of HVAC manufacturers developing tools for controlling their mechanical equipment locally and remotely with the introduction of Kumo Cloud. The company-hosted, Cloud-based platform can be used to manage indoor HVAC units and is available for use with iOS, Android, and Kindle Fire devices.
