Millennial home buyers add up in Texas housing markets.

Millennials are now and will continue to be a huge part of the housing market, making up 60% of first-time buyers. The Dallas Morning News' Steve Brown takes a look at the millennials who are continuing to pour into this market. 

Many are moving to Texas, where there is a slightly higher percentage of first-time buyers than anywhere else in the country, to take new jobs. With a preference for pre-owned houses, real-estate agents are adjusting to this new demographic:

"It’s been challenging for an industry in which most sales professionals are in their 50s. But they are learning to communicate with customers by text message and tailor digital home listings to display on cellphones."
