Daren Blomquist RealtyTrac Vice President goes over the best flipping markets for millennials and baby boomers.
As the housing market slowly continues to heal in the wake of its worst cycle in memory, "flipping" real estate accrues to a smaller percentage of total residential real estate transactions. Why? More "owner-occupiers" want to live in their newly acquired home properties rather than to try to leverage them as short-term hold investment assets.
Still, buying low and selling higher is still a tactic some players--both at the Baby Boom end of the population barbell and the Generation Y end--want and need to employ, either as a business or an opportunistic profit move.
