Per a Warmington group press statement, Warmington Residential named Matt Tingler its president and Chief Operating Officer (COO) as of January 1, 2016, promoting him from EVP and president of the Southern California and Northern California divisions.

Tingler takes over for Jim Warmington Jr., fourth-generation leader of the privately held organization and its current Chief Executive Officer (CEO). As CEO, Jim Warmington Jr., will continue to oversee the management and executive responsibilities of the Warmington group companies, which includes Warmington Residential, Warmington Properties, Inc., Chateau Interiors & Design, Studio Chateau and Stirling Financial.

Tingler joined Warmington nearly 25 years ago after graduating from Stanford University with a degree in economics. During his tenure he's held many top posts including Executive Vice President, and President of the Southern California and Northern California divisions. He also has served as President of the San Diego and Inland Empire divisions before they were consolidated into a single Southern California Division. He has further contributed his talents to the land acquisition, project management and development, field construction, customer service and property management efforts.
