For $2.1 million, Maracay Homes purchased 18.9 acres in Mesa, Ariz., reports Phoenix Business Journal staffer Mike Sunnucks.

The Scottsdale, Ariz.-based builder plans on building single-family homes of between 2,685 to 4,152 square feet at the Mesa project. Homes are expected to be on the market by the end of 2017, although a specific number of homes hasn’t been released.

“The new community will offer large-square-footage floor plans with optional RV and accessory garages for all of those outdoor enthusiasts who are looking for space to store their gear and hobbyists who need extra room to set up their own workshop,” said Tom Lemon, vice president of land acquisitions and development.
