Lennar Homes is planning to build a 226-home development in northeast Longmont, Colorado in the northern suburbs of Denver.

The development, called Provenance, would open late in the first quarter of 2017, Lennar representatives said.

Carrie Castilian, marketing manager for Lennar, said Lennar will own 138 of the homes, but the company is trying to buy back 88 homes they sold to another builder. The homes will be built on a 76-acre parcel and will include pedestrian trails and a pocket park, according to city documents.

The 138 Lennar homes will range from 1,725 to 3,083 square feet with between three and five bedrooms and between two and four bathrooms.
