While some places like tech hub-San Francisco are obvious places to find well-employed millennials (making $350,000+), Arlington, Va. has the most with 8.7% of millennials earning that amount annually. Arlington also has the highest concentration of wealthy Baby Boomers at 7.9%. Washington D.C. is not far behind its neighboring community:
The city of Washington, D.C., itself was third on the list of cities with the highest concentration of wealthy Boomers (6.1 percent of Boomer households in the nation’s capital earn more than $350,000 per year). The District of Columbia ranked ninth on the list of cities with the highest share of upscale millennial households (2.8%).
