Curbed's Jenny Xie presents the newest tiny home design from Escape Traveler.
The original Escape Traveler featured a full size oven and bathtub, which some would dub luxury amenities for a tiny home. The new release of the Escape Traveler XL offers an even more spacious and indulgent option to the line of small, movable homes. The model is still compact at 319 square feet, but sleeps up to 8 people. A 50-square foot bedroom on the main level features a queen sized bed, and two other optional sleeping lofts.
The unit, which measures 35 feet long and weighs 13,000 pounds, also comes with a fireplace, and full-size appliances including a washer and dryer combo and a dishwasher.
The tiny home takes between 30 and 60 days to complete and prices start at $72,800 (compared to the $65,400 base price for the original model).
