After breaking ground last February, Gracepoint Homes has opened a new luxury community in Conroe, Texas, north of Houston, reports Houston Business Journal staffer Paul Takahashi.

The Magnolia, Texas-based home builder has opened the first model homes in its 188-acre Stillwater community. The community will feature 381 Carolina Low-Country-style homes on 55-foot, 65-foot, 80-foot and 100-foot properties, starting from the $370,000s to more than $1 million.

Gracepoint has finished developing about a quarter of the sites, and along with its three custom homebuilder partners is now under construction on more than 25 homes in the community.

Gracepoint has partnered with five luxury and custom home builders –— Darling Homes, Jeff Paul Custom Homes, Matt Powers Custom Homes, T.D. Cox Custom Homes and Tommy Bailey Custom Homes — to build custom homes on 100-foot lots in a gated section within Stillwater. These homes will start from $1 million and up.

Stillwater’s amenities are currently being worked on and will include seven stocked lakes, three pocket parks, and an amenity center called the Back Porch with a hilltop view of the lakes and a gathering area with fire pits, lawns, and gardens.
